4 easy (and inexpensive) ways to spread some cheer this holiday season

4 easy (and inexpensive) ways to spread some cheer this holiday season

December 07, 2020

SEND SOME CARDS
Mail handwritten cards to folks that have impacted you positively this year.
GIVE A WINK AND A SMILE
Smize (smile with your eyes) at people. It’s hard in the age of the face mask to brighten someone’s day with a smile, so say it with your eyes instead! Check out this excellent tutorial from The Drew Barrymore Show.
BAKE SOMETHING
Put all that early quarantine bread making to good use and bake up some yummy treats for your friends, family, or neighbors. Tie with a bow and do a socially distanced delivery.
CHRISTMAS CAROLING (the 2020 way)
Surprise someone with an impromptu Christmas carol serenade via FaceTime. Remember the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!
GO THE EXTRA MILE
Many nonprofits have struggled this year. Take some time to research, reach out, and give to local organizations that are making a difference within your community. Post some of your favorites on your social media and encourage others to donate too.
